We also suffered loss 3 years ago when our son took his own life...I do understand very deeply the loss you are feeling, however, we were blessed to have them for as long as we did...and praise the Lord, our children had a living and active faith in the Lord...what a peace that brings to us when we are missing them so terrible, especially during the holidays. Be encouraged, dear ones, that this loss you suffer, ain't for nothin', Romans 8:28 says "All things work for good for those who love the Lord." And they do. We have seen wondrous miraculous signs and wonders since Lee's death. But the true miracle is that Lee knew the Lord from the time he was 6, and had a true relationship with him. The circumstances surrounding his death are not important, what is important, is that we encourage one another to fight the good fight of faith, and not let this loss we bear define who we are in Christ, and that, we will continue pressing on and make this thing count for something. Our God is an awesome God. We cannot control what happens to us in this life, but we can control how we react to it. When I left back to California, she was left there to suffer his loss alone.<BR/>Yes, she is a believer and she had God there, but even Jesus, the God Man Himself, needed his friends (Who fell asleep!) the night before his crucifiction.<BR/>So it's refreshing to see a church that does the Will of God based on His teachings in the bible. The Lord is slowly calling me back. Reading testimonials as strong as this, leads me in the right direction.
